SERVICE TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure effective cleaning of all equipment in your are to allow for proper inspection.
- Ensure all tools used are handled in a safe and proper manner.
- Assist in the cleaning of spares, tools and vehicles when instructed to do so.
- Make accurate measurements on tank levels and pressure gauges of equipment.
- Do daily equipment walkaround inspections and report accordingly.
- Report all major and minor leaks detected or damages on grease system to team leader
- Assist in preparing and cleaning of all minor & major leakes or damaged grease hoses or blocks.
- Promote the image of the organization at all times and foster good relations with our customers.
- Assist with the removal and re-connection of all lubrication pipes on shutdowns or services.
- Ensure all PPE is in good working order and follow mine safety standards at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Grade 12 or equivalent and must reside in Witbank.
- Driver's license and ability to travel.
- 1 to 2 years of previous experience in the Mining Sector will be beneficial.
- Computer literate.
