Novus Print division has a proud legacy, which includes the highest level of manufacturing excellence, first mover in new technology and solutions-orientated offerings. The team is exceptionally strong and is seasoned in standardisation and optimisation of processes, able to adapt quickly to change and most importantly solid in its culture and values.
Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint a Driver (Light-Code 08) to assist the Sales & Marketing & Despatch department to ensure that deliveries and pick-ups are done on a timely, correct, and effective manner. The successful incumbent will report to the National Sales Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily deliveries to and from clients and suppliers (Includes loading and offloading of goods).
- Accurate record keeping of all deliveries.
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy.
- Perform daily maintenance checks.
- Plan routes on a cost and time effective manner.
- Knowledge and adherence of all legal requirements and regulations stated in the National Road Traffic Act.
- Perform some other undertakings such as running errands.
- Perform basic administration functions.
- Adherence to Health and Safety regulations.

Educational Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Valid Code 8 driver's licence with a clear driving record
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of year 3 years experience as a Code 8 driver
- Driving experience in delivering goods to and from clients and suppliers will be advantageous
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Planning and organizing skills
- Excellent driving skills
- Good punctuality and attendance record
- The ability to follow instructions
- The ability to maintain high housekeeping standards
- Safety orientated
