Introduction
Based in Jet Park, the purpose of the position is to liaise with Retailers on trends, specifications within the built environment, implement new ideas and procedures through layouts presentations, and work closely with the Design Manager and Senior Development Manager.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Prepare initial brief document with the relevant parties
- Prepare built plans and existing asset register
- Onsite measurement on existing structures
- Prepare new and existing store layout plans
- Research and developments on new trends, equipment and specifications
- Manage and document relevant information through administrative procedures
- Prepare detailed presentations for interior design aesthetics 3D
- Work in team environment to achieve targets and deadlines
- Compile existing and new store photos
- Liaise with internal stakeholders per project
- Design reporting

Minimum requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Tertiary qualification in Architectural Draughting
- Interior Design qualification an advantage
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Be well-trained on Sketchup and Revit
- Knowledge of CorelDraw advantageous
- Valid driver's license and access to own reliable transport for travelling
- Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in Store Planning/Design
- Be enthusiastic, energetic and eager to learn
- Aptitude for space planning
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Be prepared to travel and work long hours from time to time
- Good interpersonal skills
- Show individual and work capacity
- Time management and good planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to take guidance and instructions from cross-functional leadership
- Artistic flair and attention to detail
- Understand the built environment and retail design sector
- Have a technical drawing ability and be innovative
- Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
