Intercare Sandton Sub-Acute Hospital (Pty) Ltd situated in Johannesburg, seeks to recruit an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary. The purpose of the position is to provide a proficient nursing service within the policies and procedures, governing legislation and good corporate governance in order to ensure the satisfaction of customer needs, demands, and preferences.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• To function as part of a team under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• To maintain the comfort of the patient and do regular observations.
• To promote and maintain good communication skills with the multidisciplinary team and the patients’ family.
• To maintain patient confidentiality
• To maintain effective recordkeeping as required by Intercare policies/procedures.
• To adhere to infection control policy and procedure.
• To use resources appropriately without wastage and abuse of equipment and consumables.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Certificate as Enrolled Nursing Assistant
• Registration with SANC
• Previous experience within a Sub-Acute/Rehabilitation environment
• Minimum 2 Years of nursing experience.
