Security Guard (Grade A or B) - Kgatelopele

Responsibilities :

• Protecting the company’s property onsite ( Vehicles and Heavy Equipment Machinery) by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigating disturbances
• Acting lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Required Skills :

• Ability to work at night with good vision
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism

Minimum Qualifications :

• Matric
• Grade A or B Security Guard Certificate / Diploma
• At least 2 years experience Guarding Commerical Property

Education:

• High School (matric) (Preferred)

Experience:

• Security Guard: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• Multilingual (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• PSIRA Certificate (Required)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Required)

Salary: From R4,800.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bloemfontein, Free State: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
