A career opportunity has arisen in the Sales Department – Premier - Eastern Cape . This position is responsible to maintain and grow existing targets across a client base. You will play a vital role in ensuring the availability and promotion of Premier Milling and Groceries products. Your primary responsibilities will involve driving sales growth, establishing new business accounts, and optimising market penetration within the assigned region.

Job specification:
- Trade Route Management: Manage trade routes within the region on a regular basis, conducting route rides to engage with customers, build relationships, and identify sales opportunities.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and providing exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat business.

- Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving sales targets, implementing effective sales strategies, and continuously evaluating market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences, to inform decision-making and stay ahead in the market.
- Product Promotions: Execute product promotions and merchandising initiatives to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Territory Planning: Develop and implement effective territory plans to maximise coverage and ensure efficient route planning.
- Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends. Provide regular reports and analysis to management on sales performance, market insights, and competitor activities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and effective customer support.
Qualification Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- Marketing or Sales-related diploma or degree (advantageous).
Experience Requirements
- Previous Informal Market Sales experience (advantageous).

Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
- Availability to travel within the assigned region and occasionally attend meetings or training sessions outside the region.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by business needs.
