We are currently recruiting for a GRV Clerk to join our dynamic team, based in Paarl, Western Cape. The purpose of the GRV Clerk is to perform a processing function and maintain the day-to-day administration activities of a SUPERSTAR store.
Job description
Orders processing
- Print required order sheets.
- Capture orders received by authorised persons.
Invoice / GRV capturing and processing
- Matching received invoices to corresponding orders.
- Capturing the details of the invoices received.
- Verify captured data of items captured.
- Ensure documents are filed according to store policy and procedures
- Ensure that all invoices per the GRV receiving list are captured and presented in pack for review.

Maintain Pricing & Point of Sale
- Print labels & Posters
- Price Checks
- Update PLU’s
- DC Updates
- Attend to queries as they arise.
Claims processing
- Capture all claims received
- Ensure documents are filed according to store policy and procedures
Promotions
- Download Promotions
- Promotion Order Prices
- Promotional Report
Ordering
- Download Order
- Sending Orders
- Direct Orders
Transfers
- Record Inter-departmental / Inter-Category Transfers
- Waste Transfers
Stock Take processing
- Assist with stock takes by capturing the counts into the system via manual and internal processes.
Loading of new stock items
- Upon receipt of new items, load the items in the correct manner and per instructions.
Scanning in required documents by departments
- Ensure documents are filed according to store policy and procedures
General assistance – phone call management
- Answer incoming phone calls and divert to correct persons or take messages if unavailable.
Managing Store Documentation
- Ensure documents are filed according to store policy and procedures

Minimum requirements
Minimum Experience
- Experience advantageous
- Experience in GRV clerk role in retail preferrable.
- Matric / NQF level 4 equivalent
Special Requirements
- The incumbent must act with integrity, be self-motivated, focused on achieving results and high-quality work.
