Responsibilities (Not Limited to the Below)
- Report writing
- Protection and Safeguarding of all company sites
- Patrolling and Static armed guarding
- Entrance and exit control
- Completing relevant registers
- Standard duties as per training
- Response to alarms and incidents
- Good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to follow instructions accurately

- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent standards in the execution of armed response (Tactical) security measures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent legal and practical knowledge of the use of Firearms – SAPS and/or SWAT training and/or experience will be an advantage.
- Firearm business competency SAPS certificate obtained more than 2 years ago.
- Own a legal firearm (pistol) with a licence will be an advantage.
- The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all site-specific tactical security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are efficiently adhered to in real-time.
Minimum Qualifying Criteria
- Matric.
- PSIRA Grade B accredited AND relevant training.
- Minimum of 5 years in security industry.
- Age between 30 and 45.
- Sober habits.
- No criminal record.
- Well-groomed and presentable in uniform.
- Willing to undergo criminal checks regularly.
- Must be physically fit and in good health.
- Computer literate an advantage.
- Must have estate/retail experience.
- Must reside in travelling distance to the sites.
- Valid Driver’s Licence – obtained more than 2 years ago.
- Excellent knowledge and Firearm Competency – Handgun, Shotgun, Rifle for Business purposes.
- Professional, prepared, alert and always disciplined.
