- Patient assessment, management and customer care
- Adherence to HPCSA protocols
- CPD compliance
- Accurate administration and record-keeping
- Self-management and development

- Quality assurance to maintain work standards and integrity of data reporting
- Effective control of vehicle and equipment
- Compliance to Health and Safety Regulations
- Compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures
- Stakeholder management
- Operational coordination of Netcare 911 resources on scenes
- Coaching and mentoring of operational EMS employees
- Assist with medication ordering, management and security of medication movement
SKILLS PROFILE
EDUCATION
- Current registration with the Professional Board of Emergency Care at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Paramedic (CCA / N. Dip) or Emergency Care Practitioner (BTech/BHSc)
- Hold a valid PrDP and a valid Code B drivers licence

WORK EXPERIENCE
- >1 Year post-graduate patient care experience in an operational environment (beneficial).
- Paramedic levels of placement will be dictated by years of operational experience, qualification and proof of activity by submission of a portfolio of evidence
KNOWLEDGE
- Technical skills related to pre-hospital emergency medical care qualification
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to effectively manage stress
- Conflict resolution
- Ability to coordinate resources to achieve goal congruence
- Computer literacy would be beneficial
- Adequate driving skills related to the emergency response setting
