The purpose of the job is to ensure that the Stores assistants receive stock and pack it on the shelves, to physically issue stock to the customers, prepare parcels to be sent to clients
Duties
Store assistant
- Issue stock
- Ordering of stock
- Receive stock and parts
- Stock count
- Stacking and storing of items
- Quotations/ telephone calls
- House keeping
- Packing / crating and weighing of items
- Label and documentation
- Issue tools
- Keep registers update

Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
Experience
- 3 year demonstrated experience working in a stores/warehouse environment
Job Competencies
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proven computer literacy in Excel
- Attention to detail
- Planning and Organizing
- Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations
General
- Certificate/Diploma in inventory stock management
