Full Job Description - Read Carefully
Duties :
- Ensure proper and effective Food Service/catering service by complying to the production and work schedules and instructions given by Food Service Supervisor.
- Maintain and ensure the correct use of food Service equipment and ensure the breakages are reported immediately.
- Assist with the preparations and catering for functions and events.
- The preparation of food for normal, therapeutic diets and snacks. Daily dishing up of food and the distribution of meals as per allocated ward.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks – routine duties as policies, procedures, and job description always.
- Per work schedule.
- Applying Hygiene and Safety measures in work according to hygiene and safety manual and planned work schedules.
- To communicate with colleagues, supervisors, managers, patients, and hospital staff where applicable.
- Be prepared to relieve in all areas of Food Service.

Requirements :
- Grade 10 or abet level 4 or equivalent. Good communications skills and interpersonal skills.
Location: Johannesburg Health District (Lenasia South District Hospital)
Package: R 104 073 per annum (Plus benefits)

- The fully completed and new signed Z83 form should be accompanied by a recent updated CV as well as certified copies of all qualifications and copy of ID and the smart ID card copy must show both sides. Certification should not be more than 6 months old.
