- Automotive Assembly Process Knowledge And Experience
- Knowledge of incoming materials quality standards by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Hand And Power Tool Operational Experience
- Welding Experience And Working Knowledge
- Automotive Assembly Process Knowledge And Experience
- Knowledge Of Welding Procedures and Processes
- Perform Visual And Test Inspections On Welded Sub-Assemblies And Complete Assemblies
- Record Readings And Generate Reports From Inspection Data
- Analyze And Identify Defects
- Ensure Preventative And Repair Methods Are Adhered To
- Ensure in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to responsible personnel
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- Technical Diploma (N3-N6): Mechanical / Welding Engineering
- 3-4 Years Part / Product Assembly Experience.
- 3-5 Years of Relevant Experience in the Automotive Industry

Responsibilities
PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA
- Focus on quality and maintain concentration with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy by ensuring weld quality.
- Take an analytical approach to solving problems through systematic monitoring and checking of information to meet standards and ensure parts and welding meet specifications.
- Set up and operate welding and joining processes for lab tests, and perform welding experiments
- Work in cross-functional engineering teams to develop and test new products
- Conduct field service activities for department and business units. interpretation and analysis driving kaizens.
